Week 10

This week uploaded our website to the web. I must say was an annoyance, espically since I basically had to work on two computer. My pages and buttons had to be updated one at a time to get them to work on the schools computer. Then the uploading process should include a warning that a server firewall is required before any page can be uploaded to the web.... using dreamweaver. I was late for class so I probley missed a longer titortal of using Indesign, but I find it an extremely easy to use and was able to finish the titortal pic very quickly ( what do you think).

Final exam notes

Flash animaiton can be done with motion tween, shape tween, and key frame. To create a motion tween is to have a motion tween and a motion guide ( with an option to orient to path). The key to shape tween is the break apart, selecting tween shape in properities pallet, and when destination is selected, add the final move clip.

Week 6: the other stuff

Today tutorial was on the basics of flash and teh funcation of frames, motion guides working key frame, and how to test a movie. The Following terms were discussed in class tuesday:



Frame - where flash films are attached to



Key Frame - Used to attach images that will be used in flash films



Motion Guide - Used to help align similar pictures in different position without deveating from point of plane.



Blank Work Key- used for place of action in flash movies but do not have any characters or images attached to them



Test movie - an option on the drop down menu that allow flash movie to be tested in a internet browser.



We also had tutorial on how to make a banner for our website by Mike Devoe with an assignment to have a banner designed, completed, and posted on our website.

week 6....the project!!!!!

I don't know what everyone thought about my presentation, but let me guess.... I was terrible and missing some pieces of information, and I do apologize for the 7 to 10 second pause during the discription of the test version of my project. I personally thought the presentation sucked and that I should come up with a new technique to help solve......well the 7 to 10 seconds of ambiant noise.

Week 5: Midterm times

OK, today we completed our midterm exam and midterm assessment, and to say I wasn't nervious would be a lie. Question 1 of the midterm I found pretty easy, but the second question was a bit of a challenge to my vision from my head to my screen, but patience is a true virtue.

Week 4: The Onsloath

Ok, week four was an learning exprience. we used Adobe Illustrator to modify and "sub-create" and image of a logo drawn on a napkin (maybe). My most engaged moment was just using Illustrator because this is my first time i've used this program. We also presented our photoshop modified image in our powerpoint presentation.

Week 3: The Aftermath

This week we further expanded our knowledge on photoshop by learning how to modify the look of our images by using the tools free transform, blending options, textures load selection, and reirrated on how to save picture for the internet.

Week 3: Photoshop modificaton notes

When I create a file on photoshop, I need to set my preference correctly. Varified modes that has been set in photoshop. Standard mode for web images is RGB. To print a picture need to be set to resoulation mode to CYMK, and for black and white picture, it will be set to gray scale. Standard picture size for web image is 72 pixel per inch. Computer commucate in binary mode. All words are translated in 0 and 1's. Every single number is a bit. Difference between Raster and vector image is that Vector image is a combinaton line and do, and raster image is resolution dependent. Raster image is also known as a bitmap. To save an image for the web, go to file, click save for web and devices. Four way the picture, set to jpeg low so you can get the fastest downloaded image for the web.

My website idea

my website will have six pages on the video game, Halo 3. Four of the pages will be accessed from any page, but the other two will only be accessed from the home page. As far as my wire frame, there will be a logo on the top page and there will be buttons just below the logo.

Week 2

We did a titortal on basic dreamweaver and photoshop usage. As far as most engaging moment, there really wasen't because I know how to use both programs, but today was a review because I haven't used either program in over two years, just so it dosen't sound like i'm bragging.

Week 1

This class sound like it will be a "piece of cake", but I still have doubt about passing, but that is just me!!!!! As for my webpage project, I have idea with maybe a few maybe on some of the site features, but it should be no less then genious when I finish.
